\u00a0In the current context marked by senseless wars that inflict suffering and destruction on innocent populations, the need to break the silence through art has emerged. From this need comes the idea of a musical documentary that tells the life story of Nicolo Paganini<\/strong>, born in Genoa<\/strong> in 1742 and died in Nice<\/strong> in 1840, universally recognized as the greatest violinist in history. At the center of the film, produced by Hive Cinema<\/strong> and with the careful scripting of Paolo Bianchini, Luca Bianchini and Paola Rota<\/strong>, there is the story of Paganini's legendary violin, built in 1743 by the famous luthier Giuseppe Guarneri del Ges\u00f9<\/strong>. Paganini, fascinated by the sonic power of his instrument, christened it \u201cmy cannon<\/strong>\u201d.<\/p>\n

The power of culture<\/strong>, in its multifaceted expression, is a powerful tool for countering hatred and violence and promoting the Solidarity among peoples.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/strong>On this date, the \u201ccannon\u201d<\/strong> of Paganini will emerge from his shrine at Tursi Palace<\/strong> to appeal to the international cultural world. Poets, writers, philosophers, actors, directors, singers and artists of all kinds will be invited to offer a message of peace. On a day when weapons continue to thunder, music and poetry will stand as a universal language of brotherhood, culture as the only weapon against war. History teaches us that on many occasions the emotional power of music has been able to turn enemies into brothers.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Paganini's violin in a film between music, memory and prestigious collaborations<\/h2>\n

\u00a0<\/strong>Among the first entities to join this initiative are institutions of great international significance. The Barcelona Football Club<\/strong>, for example, with its deep-rooted social commitment, agreed to be part of this project, as did the municipality of Guernica<\/strong>, a city symbolic of the horrors of war that inspired the famous painting by Pablo Picasso<\/strong>. The utopia of peace through art<\/h2>\n

\u00a0<\/strong>Paul Bianchini<\/strong>, known for his commitment to children's issues that earned him the title of UNICEF Ambassador <\/strong>in 2002, has had a rich and varied career in film and advertising. Beginning as an assistant director on about sixty films with such masters of Italian cinema as Luigi Zampa, Mario Monicelli and Sergio Leone<\/strong>, then co-wrote such films as. \u201cThe Seven Golden Men\u201d<\/strong> e \u201cAt any cost.\u201d<\/strong>. His directing career has led him to such cult films as. \u201cHipnos<\/strong>\u201d e \u201cDevil's man story\u201d<\/strong>, cited by such directors as. Quentin Tarantino<\/strong> e David Cronenberg<\/strong>. After a long stint in advertising, directing about two thousand commercials for large international agencies, Bianchini returned to cinema in 1997 with \u201cThe Big Oak\u201d<\/strong>, a film that has received numerous awards.<\/p>\n
