At the helm today is Roberta Mantellassi, who, after the painful loss of her husband, took the reins of the family and the company, along with her three children. In addition to Mantellassi 1926, Sofable was also founded. A young company, led by her young children, with a forward-looking vision, yet deeply rooted in the past, in tradition, and in craftsmanship. The brand was founded in 2016 by Marco, Giulio, and Carlo Mantellassi, the fifth generation of a company that now boasts nearly 100 years of history, known throughout the world. Sofable combines a passion for handmade products and the know-how passed down from previous generations with the enormous potential of new technologies and digital technologies, tools that allow us to reach end customers directly, even remotely, bypassing traditional distribution.

"It has always been my life, our life. From a great pain was born the strength to hold the flag of this company high, and from my children the skill and intuition that has since become a reality highly appreciated around the world," says Roberta: "Covid, and the loss of our Nicola, have put us to the test. But we didn't give up," he continues: "We took a transition period, to catch our breath and as an opportunity to start over. We had to do it above all for him, and I had to do it for my children."”
The company has a production facility in Gello, Pistoia, which also houses the showroom.
